Pistol Two Intermediate Course

This course is NOT for beginners.

It is designed for shooters who already have a solid foundation in pistol safety, handling, and marksmanship and are ready to train at a higher level.

The Intermediate Pistol Skills Course builds on core handgun fundamentals and introduces movement, positional shooting, and performance-based drills. Students will be challenged to balance accuracy, speed, and safe gun handling under increasing complexity.

This is a fast-paced, skill-intensive course intended to prepare shooters for defensive applications, duty use, or advanced pistol training.


What You’ll Learn
Efficient draw stroke from the holster
Shooting while moving (forward, lateral, and rearward)
Multiple-target engagement and transitions
Reloads and malfunction clearance under time pressure
Positional shooting (kneeling, barricades, use of cover)
Strong-hand and support-hand shooting
Accuracy vs. speed management
Introduction to timed performance drills


Prerequisites (Required)
Prior formal pistol training or equivalent experience
Safe, consistent draw from a holster
Ability to maintain control and accuracy at speed
Familiarity with reloads and basic malfunction clearance
This is not a fundamentals or beginner course.
Students must arrive prepared to train with a loaded handgun from the holster.

Equipment Requirements
Reliable semi-automatic pistol
Strong-side belt holster that fully covers the trigger guard
Minimum of 3 magazines
Sturdy belt
Eye and ear protection
250–300 rounds of ammunition
Knee pads (recommended)
