Medical Training Course

In this course, the student will learn basic trauma assessment and care using the S.T.A.R.T guidelines.

Students will become certified in Basic Life Support, First Aid, CPR, and AED training. We are an American Heart (AHA) Training Site, and you will receive AHA certification upon successful completion.

This course will cover the basic applications of medical trauma and triage in the field.

You will learn:

-Dress gunshot wounds/ chest seals

-Israeli bandage/ effectively stop bleeding,

-Quit Clot (When to use/how to use)

-Tourniquet application

-Bypass airways w/ nasopharyngeal

-Relieve pressure from tension pneumothorax

-When completed, each student with receive AHA certification in CPR/AED/First aid.

Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK)

What an IFAK is and the equipment that should be carried in it. We will teach you how to use your first aid kit, and where to purchase one if you want one for your car, home, or to care with you while out and about.

Must be 18 years of age or older to attend any course at Panther Ridge Training Center
